China Television Company, Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 192.241 million compared to TWD 191.786 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 37.066 million compared to TWD 68.849 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 18.913 million compared to TWD 53.226 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.13 compared to TWD 0.35 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 525.602 million compared to TWD 551.412 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 157.457 million compared to TWD 219.995 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 104.822 million compared to TWD 183.752 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.7 compared to TWD 1.22 a year ago.
China Television Co., Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the provision of television advertising services. The Companyâs primary business includes the provision of television (TV) advertisement broadcasting services, the publishing and issuing of broadcasting news and programs, the copyright distribution of channels and digital programs, the operation of office websites, the distribution of advertising, as well as the provision of integrated marketing solution services. The Company is also involved in the provision of leasing services of studio equipment, sets and props. The Company operates its businesses primarily in Taiwan market.
