OPERATING DATA OF 2020 SECOND QUARTER

This announcement is made pursuant to the inside information provisions under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong) and Rule 13.09 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

The board of directors (the "Board") of CHINA SUNTIEN GREEN ENERGY CORPORATION LIMITED (the "Company") hereby announces the operating data of 2020 second quarter of the Company and its subsidiaries (collectively, the "Group").

NEW ENERGY BUSINESS SEGMENT

According to the Company's preliminary statistics, the power generation of the Company on a consolidated basis for the 2020 second quarter amounted to 2,370,708.07 MWh, representing an increase of 7.84% over the corresponding period of 2019; the on-grid power generation amounted to 2,205,603.38 MWh, representing an increase of 9.56% over the corresponding period of 2019. As of 30 June 2020, the accumulated power generation amounted to 5,083,049.48 MWh, representing an increase of 4.48% over the corresponding period of 2019; the accumulated on-grid power generation amounted to 4,789,003.69 MWh, representing an increase of 4.13% over the corresponding period of 2019. In the first half of 2020, the average on-grid tariff (tax exclusive) of the Company was RMB0.47/MWh, representing an increase of 2.28%; the Company's transacted electricity volume in the electricity market amounted to 641,177.52 MWh, the proportion of transacted electricity volume in the electricity market (compared to the power generation in the same period) amounted to 13.39%, representing a decrease of 4.04 percentage points over the corresponding period of 2019.

GAS BUSINESS SEGMENT

According to the Company's preliminary statistics, the sales volume of gas of the Group on a consolidated basis for the 2020 second quarter amounted to 547,009,400 cubic meters, representing an increase of 14.50% over the corresponding period of 2019. As of 30 June 2020, the accumulated sales volume of gas amounted to 1,869,309,900 cubic meters, representing an increase of 13.21% over the corresponding period of 2019.
