On September 15, Mr. Guo Wenqing, China Minmetals' President and Deputy Party Group Secretary and MCC Chairman, met with Zhao Xiaochen, President and Party Group Secretary of GRINM GROUP CORPRATION LIMITED (GRINM Group).

The two leaders exchanged views on further strengthening cooperation, and attended the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation between China Minmetals Rare Earth Co., Ltd. and Grinm Advanced Materials Co., Ltd.

Guo Wenqing extended a warm welcome to Zhao Xiaochen and expressed sincere gratitude to GRINM Group for its long-term strong support for China Minmetals. At the meeting, Guo Wenqing gave a brief introduction to the evolution of China Minmetals and MCC (both among the Fortune Global 500) as well as the achievements since the strategic restructuring of China Minmetals and MCC. Guo Wenqing said that since the strategic restructuring of China Minmetals and MCC in December 2015, China Minmetals had been following the strategic goal of 'quadrupling in three steps', committing to the building of metal mining, metallurgical development, trade and logistics, finance, and the real estate, and consolidating the business system featured by 'four beams and eight columns'. With business risks defused in the process of advancement and problems of development tackled in the process of reform, we, through arduous work of more than 4 years, pushed China Minmetals into a first-ever stage of high-quality development. The two leaders also had extensive and deep discussions on the issues of common interests.

After the meeting, under the witness of Guo Wenqing and Zhao Xiaochen, Liu Leiyun, President and Acting Party Group Secretary of China Minmetals Rare Earth Co., Ltd., and Yu Dunbo, President of Grinm Advanced Materials Co., Ltd., on behalf of China Minmetals Rare Earth Co., Ltd. and Grinm Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. respectively, signed the strategic cooperation agreement. Present at the signing ceremony were Dong Mingjun, Member of the Board of Directors and Deputy Party Group Secretary of China Minmetals, Jiao Jian, Vice President and Party Member of China Minmetals, Zhang Mengxing, Deputy Party Group Secretary and President of MCC, Wang Chen and Zhou Qigang, Vice President and Member of Party Committee of GRINM Group, and Huang Xiaowei, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chief Expert of GRINM Group. Mr. Jiao Jian presided over the signing ceremony.
