CLARIFICATION ANNOUNCEMENT ON RESIGNATION OF

DIRECTOR

Reference is made to the announcement of China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited* (the "Company") dated 2 December 2018 in relation to the resignation of director (the "Resignation Announcement"). Capitalised terms used in this clarification announcement shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Resignation Announcement.

The Company was recently informed that Li Enyi was detained by the supervisory authority due to suspected serious duty crimes. The Company is not aware of any other relevant information on the detention of him. As of the date of this announcement, to the knowledge of the Board of the Company, having made reasonable enquires, neither the Company nor the directors of the Company has been contacted or enquired by the supervisory authority in relation to the abovementioned detention.

The Company has been under normal production and operation.
