On June 8, 2020, Zhengdong Zhu submitted a preliminary non-binding proposal to the board of directors of China Distance Education Holdings Limited. In the proposal, Zhengdong Zhu proposed to acquire all outstanding shares of the Company for US$9.08 per ADS, or US$2.27 per ordinary share, in cash.
