Senior hire marks the next step in Charles Taylor's growth plan in Latin America

Charles Taylor InsureTech (InsureTech) is developing its presence in the global insurance technology market with the appointment of Gonzalo Geijo into the newly created role of Regional Sales Director Latin America.

The appointment will help InsureTech to capitalise on recent strategic investments including the expansion of its global delivery network and Charles Taylor's acquisition of a stake in Fadata, a specialist provider of software solutions to the insurance industry.

InsureTech is currently implementing Fadata's INSIS policy administration system for a major insurer in Peru.

Gonzalo Geijo joins from Sistran, where he led a business development team responsible for major technology implementations for insurance clients in the region. Gonzalo has over ten years' experience in the insurance and technology sector and has a deep knowledge of the Latam insurance market.

Latin America is a key market for Charles Taylor InsureTech and this appointment follows the opening of the Centre of Excellence in Mexico offering insurance technology consultancy and expertise in the Latin American region. Gonzalo will report to Tony Russell, Global Sales Director, based in the UK.
