Chang Wah Technology Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 2,470.868 million compared to TWD 2,538.887 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 236.363 million compared to TWD 339.591 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 183.986 million compared to TWD 254.300 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.52 compared to TWD 0.72 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 6,877.777 million compared to TWD 7,483.945 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 611.416 million compared to TWD 890.801 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 451.733 million compared to TWD 670.455 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.28 compared to TWD 1.87 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.28 compared to TWD 1.86 a year ago.
CHANG WAH TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD is a Taiwan-based lead frame manufacturer. The Company's main products is involved in integrated circuit (IC) lead frames, encapsulated resin and light emitting diode (LED) lead frames. The Company's products are used in the IC industry and the optoelectronic industry. The lead frame can be divided into three categories including integrated circuit lead frame, photovoltaic element lead frame and light emitting diode lead frame according to the different chips. The Company distributes its products mainly to Asia and Europe.
