Celanese Corporation reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2024. For the first quarter, the company reported sales was USD 2,611 million compared to USD 2,853 million a year ago. Net income was USD 121 million compared to USD 91 million a year ago.

Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.11 compared to USD 0.87 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.1 compared to USD 0.86 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was USD 1.11 compared to USD 0.84 a year ago.

Diluted earnings per share was USD 1.1 compared to USD 0.83 a year ago.
