CEAT Limited reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was INR 27,272 million compared to INR 24,132.7 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 27,292.2 million compared to INR 24,164.4 million a year ago. Net income was INR 353.9 million compared to net loss of INR 200.1 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 8.75 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of INR 4.95 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 8.75 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of INR 4.95 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was INR 84,400.6 million compared to INR 67,714.2 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 84,546.1 million compared to INR 67,795.3 million a year ago. Net income was INR 524.7 million compared to INR 459.5 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 12.97 compared to INR 11.36 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 12.97 compared to INR 11.36 a year ago.
