CEAT Limited reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was INR 24,132.7 million compared to INR 22,212.5 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 24,164.4 million compared to INR 22,253 million a year ago. Net loss was INR 200.1 million compared to net income of INR 1,321.4 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was INR 4.95 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of INR 32.67 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was INR 4.95 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of INR 32.67 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was INR 67,714.2 million compared to INR 53,198.8 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 67,795.3 million compared to INR 53,305.2 million a year ago. Net income was INR 459.5 million compared to INR 2,792.4 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 11.36 compared to INR 69.03 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 11.36 compared to INR 69.03 a year ago.
