Carlit Holdings Co., Ltd. (TSE:4275) announced a private placement of 300,000 treasury shares at ¥514 per share with Trust & Custody Services Bank, Ltd., Investment Arm for gross proceeds of ¥154,200,000 on October 30, 2015. The transaction is scheduled to close on November 17, 2015. The shares will be issued through third party allocation method.
The company will not incur any expenses in the transaction. The transaction has been approved by the board of directors of the company.
Carlit Holdings Co Ltd is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the chemicals, bottling, industrial materials, and engineering services business. It operates through four business segments. The Chemicals segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of industrial explosives, emergency safety flame tubes for automobiles, materials for fireworks, sodium chlorate, ammonium perchlorate, sodium chlorite, pesticides, electrodes, perchloric acid, and synthetic resin raw materials, organic conductive materials, and ionic conductive materials and abrasives, as well as the provision of hazard evaluation and battery tests. The Bottling segment handles the bottling processing and sales of soft drinks. The Industrial Component segment manufactures and sells silicon wafers for semiconductors, various heat-resistant refractories, and springs. The Engineering Services segment sells and paints industrial paints, and designs and supervises water and sewage and wastewater treatment facilities.
