Effective December 31, 2015, Gary Johnson resigned as the CEO and as a director of Cannabis Sativa, Inc. in order to pursue political opportunities. Effective the same day, David Tobias was appointed interim CEO by the board of directors to serve until a permanent CEO is selected and appointed. Mr. Tobias became a member of the board of directors of the company on July 12, 2013.

Cannabis Sativa, Inc. is engaged in telehealth through its 51% owned subsidiary and the licensing of cannabis-related intellectual property (IP), marketing and branding for cannabis-based products and services, operation of cannabis-related technology services, and ancillary business activities. PrestoCorp offers an online telemedicine platform providing customer access to knowledgeable physicians to obtain a medical marijuana recommendation. PrestoCorp uses video conferencing technology to provide a safe and confidential forum for the doctor patient interview in accordance with state regulations governing issuance of medical marijuana cards. It offers services in California, Nevada, New York, Missouri, and Oklahoma.
