Deka Immobilien GmbH agreed to acquire Tower 185 building from CA Immobilien Anlagen AG (WBAG:CAI) and joint venture partners WPI Fonds managed by BayernInvest Luxembourg S.A., Fagas Asset GmbH and PPG Partnerpensions gesellschaft for approximately €780 million on November 29, 2017. CA Immobilien’s share in the property is one third. As on January 9, 2018, the ownership will be shared by Deka-ImmobilienEuropa, Deka Immobilien Investment GMBH, Westinvest InterSelect, Deka-ImmobilienGlobal, WestInvest ImmoValue. The transaction will be closed subject to standard conditions precedent and is expected to take place early in the first quarter of 2018. Jones Lang LaSalle acted as broker for joint marketing of the transaction and Reinhard Scheer-Hennings, Gerold Jaeger, Philipp Stoecker of Clifford Chance acted as legal advisor and Michael Müller, Alexandra Burg, Stefan Schmidt of PwC and KPMG acted as tax advisors to sellers. HypoVereinsbank financed the transaction amounting to €250 million.
