Notice of dividend currency exchange rate

Shareholders on the South African register of the Company are referred to the announcement released on 24 May 2022 with regard to the financial results for the full year ended 28 February 2022 and proposal by the Board of a gross final and special dividend from retained earnings of 4.2 pence per share and 6.2 pence per share, respectively.

If approved by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, 26 July 2022, the final and special dividends will be payable on Friday, 12 August 2022 to all ordinary shareholders who are registered as such at the close of business on the record date, Friday, 29 July 2022.

Shareholders on the South African register will be paid the ZAR cash equivalent as follows:

• Final dividend of 85.16084 cents per share (68.12867 cents per share net of dividend withholding tax).
• Special dividend of 125.71362 cents per share (100.57089 cents per share net of dividend withholding tax).

Dividend withholding tax of 20% will be applicable to all shareholders on the South African register who are not exempt therefrom. The ZAR cash equivalent has been calculated using the following exchange rate: GBP1: ZAR20.27639 being the GBP/ZAR exchange rate on Friday, 22 July 2022 at 09:00 (BST).
