On January 8, 2020, Business First Bancshares, Inc. announced the resignation of C. Stewart Slack from the Board of Directors of each of Business First and the Bank, effective on that same date. Mr. Slack’s resignation did not result from any disagreement with Business First on any matter relating to Business First’s operations, policy or practices. Rather, Mr. Slack’s resignation is a result of his recent decision to accept a full-time employment position with the Bank that will commence on January 21, 2020, in which he will serve in a senior advisory role to the executive management team.

The Bank is a Louisiana state banking association and community-based financial institution that offers a range of banking products and services.
