Milan, April 12, 2012 - Buongiorno S.p.A. (FTSE Italy STAR: BNG), multinational leader at a global level in the development and management of paid apps and services for mobile devices, today finalized the sale of DioraNews S.A.S., a supplier of digital news to telephone carriers in France and certain French-speaking nations in Africa.
In accordance with the strategic refocus on B2C activity, initiated with the acquisition of Dada.net, the spin-off of the B2B activity, and the subsequent sale of Sms.at, Buongiorno has chosen to sell the news reporting business of DioraNews, as it is no longer in line with the new Group strategy.
The activity within the perimeter of sale, which registered revenues of 1.5 million Euro and EBITDA of 0.1 million Euro in 2011, has been evaluated at 750,000 Euro, net of working capital and cash. The settled closing price will be paid sequentially: 450 thousand Euro on the closing date and 300 thousand Euro in December 2012.
