Stéphane Janichewski appointed as Director of the Defense and Aerospace market and Director of Security at the Bull Group

Stéphane Janichewski (54) has joined the Bull Group as Director responsible for the Defense and Aerospace market and Director of Security. Since 2012, he has been Director of the Cyber-security business at Sogeti, a subsidiary of Capgemini. Stéphane's career began at the French defense procurement agency, the DGA (Direction Générale de l'Armement), where he was involved in program management, most notably in satellite telecommunications (Syracuse 2) and acted as a technical adviser to the Head of the DGA (Henri Conze) on strategic affairs (space, missiles, nuclear). Between 1995 and 2009, Stéphane held various positions at the French national center for space studies CNES (Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales) including Chief Operation Officer (Directeur Général Délégué). In 2009, he joined Capgemini as Account Director for the French Armed Forces and Space in Europe.

Stéphane Janichewski is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique (1980), the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées (1985) and CPA, Executive MBA HEC (1999).

He also holds the rank of Ingénieur Général de l'Armement (equivalent to General), and has received a number of awards including Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur and Officier de l'Ordre National du Mérite.
