Brookside Energy sees strong initial flow rates at Juanita

Brookside Energy Ltd (ASX:BRK) MD David Prentice tells Proactive he’s delighted by strong initial production testing results at Juanita Well in the company’s expanded Bradbury Area of Interest (AOI) within the Arbuckle Uplift – Ardmore Basin in Oklahoma. Production testing of a sand within the Simpson Group, which is one of the company’s pre-drill primary target zones at Juanita, has delivered a peak production test rate of 329 Barrels of Oil Equivalent (BOE) (75% oil).

It operates in the oil and gas sector through its activities in the industry focused on the mid-continent region of the United States. It is engaged in the exploration of the Anadarko Basin. The Anadarko Basin is an oil and gas development province with existing oil and gas gathering. The Anadarko Basin is a geologic feature covering over 50,000 square miles, primarily in west-central Oklahoma but also including the upper Texas Panhandle, southwestern Kansas and south-eastern Colorado. It is also focused on oil and gas plays, including STACK and SCOOP. The STACK consists of the Sooner Trend, Anadarko Basin, Canadian, and Kingfisher Counties, and SCOOP consists of the South Central Oklahoma Oil Province. The plays are developed through horizontal drilling and completion techniques targeting the Mississippian aged formations and the Woodford Shale.
