Broadspectrum announces Board changes

Broadspectrum today announced a number of changes to the Broadspectrum Board as part of its takeover by Ferrovial Services Australia Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ferrovial S.A.

Non-Executive Directors Douglas Snedden, Roy McKelvie, Katherine Hirschfeld and Geoffrey Kleemann have resigned from the Board effective 13 May 2016.

Mr Snedden has served on the Board since 21 December 2009 and was Chairman of the HRC and a member of the Risk Audit and Compliance Committee (RACC) and the Health, Safety, Environment and Community Committee (HSECC).

Mr McKelvie has served on the Board since 31 August 2012 and was a member of the RACC and the Human Resources Committee (HRC).

Ms Hirschfeld has served on the Board since 28 October 2013 and was a member of the HRC and the HSECC.

Mr Kleemann has served on the Board since 19 September 2014 and was Chairman of the RACC and a member of the HRC.

Broadspectrum Chairman Diane Smith-Gander paid tribute to the outgoing Directors and thanked them for their contribution and dedication to the Company over a number of years.

"I'd like to thank Doug, Roy, Kathy and Geoff for their outstanding contribution to the Board over many years," Ms Smith-Gander said.

"All four have been sources of wise counsel and I have enjoyed working with them to navigate the Company through a number of challenges over the last few years," she said.

The outgoing Directors have been replaced on the Board by Ferrovial representatives Santiago Olivares Blázquez, Andrés Camacho Donézar, Fidel López Soria and Alfredo García López.

Santiago Olivares Blázquez has been Chief Executive Officer of Ferrovial Services since May 2007 and has a degree in Degree in Industrial Engineering from the ICAI School of Engineering and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Andrés Camacho Donézar joined Ferrovial in 2007. He has a Degree in Business Administration and Management from the Commercial University of Deusto and a Master of Science in Economic Development from the London School of Economics.

Fidel López Soria joined Ferrovial in 2007. Fidel has developed his training at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, the National School of Mines of Paris and the MIT Sloan School of Management. As part of his duties Mr Soria has been appointed to the Broadspectrum RACC.

Alfredo García López joined Ferrovial in 2001. He holds a Law Degree (Universidad Complutense - Madrid), and has completed the Executive Business Program at the IESE Business School of Madrid.

Broadspectrum has not entered into separate employment agreements with the new Directors.

Dean Pritchard will remain as a Non-Executive Director and has been appointed as Chairman of the RACC. Diane Smith-Gander will remain as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Board. Graeme Hunt will also remain on the Board in his capacity as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Broadspectrum.
