Breitling Energy Corporation (OTCBB: BECC) announces the appointment of Trenton K. Thornock to the Board of Directors, effective November 14, 2014.

Mr. Thornock is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Scientific Drilling International, Inc., an international independent directional drilling company, based in Houston, Texas.

Prior to becoming CFO of Scientific Drilling, he held management positions with Duratherm, Inc., an environmental services company and U.S. Zinc Corporation, where he also served on that company’s Board of Directors. He is a certified public accountant in the State of Utah, not in public practice, and has a Bachelor of Accounting and a Masters of Professional Accountancy from the University of Utah.
