BioNitrogen has received a one-year loan extension on the funding for its planned urea project in Taylor County, Florida, and is currently looking at a new location for the eventual plant construction. Community and Southern Bank, has approved the extension agreement which will give it more time to complete the due diligence process for the proposed urea facility. Initially the company had planned to build in Perry, Florida a urea plant which could produce approximately 200,000 tonnes/year of urea and use locally supplied woody biomass as its feedstock.
