Bar Harbor Bankshares : Tim Kelly Joins Bar Harbor Bank & Trust’s Residential Lending Team

Bangor, Maine (January 7, 2021) - Tim Kelly has joined Bar Harbor Bank & Trust's Residential Lending Team as Assistant Vice President (AVP), Mortgage Loan Originator (NMLS#560782). In this role, he will be helping individuals and families in the Greater Bangor Region find the right financing solutions for their homes.

Tim has nearly 40 years of professional experience in a variety of financial, customer service, and sales roles. He joined Bar Harbor Bank & Trust in 2019 as AVP, Branch Relationship Manager for the Bank's location on Main Street in Bangor, Maine. He previously worked for People's United Bank, Norris Inc., and Mass Mutual Financial, among others.

Tim earned a master's degree in Business Management and a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Husson University. He also has an associate's degree in Business Administration from Beal College.

Tim is active in supporting outreach programs through his local church on initiatives that help address both homelessness and opioid addiction. He previously volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America as both an assistant scout master and committee chairman for Troop 5.

Tim and his wife Lisa live in Bangor, Maine.
