Banco Actinver S.A institucion de Banca Multiple, Grupo Financiero Actinver signed an agreement to acquire investment management assets of American Express Bank (Mexico) S.A Institucion de Banca Multiple on March 7, 2012. Investment management assets include check accounts, saving accounts, deposits and distribution of shares of investment companies. The transaction is subject to certain conditions including regulatory approval and is expected to be finalized by the end of the second quarter of 2012.
