Thomas E. Ratsep Named Senior VP, Senior Credit Officer at Ballston Spa National Bank
BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. - Thomas E. Ratsep has been named senior vice president, senior credit officer atBallston Spa National Bank (BSNB) according to Christopher R. Dowd, president and CEO.
Mr. Ratsep will oversee the credit risk management function of the Bank, including the commercial credit department, commercial loan documentation department, collections department and management reporting.
Mr. Ratsep brings more than 30 years of experience in community banking and has held senior management positions in credit administration and commercial lending at area banks. He has a bachelor's of science with a concentration in corporate finance from the University of Vermont. He graduated from ABA Stonier National Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania and The New England School of Banking at Williams College. Reflecting the bank's commitment to making a difference for customers and the community, Mr. Ratsep serves on the board of directors at the Veterans and Community Housing Coalition in Ballston Spa, NY, a position he's held since 2006.
