As of today, the Annual and Sustainability Report for
2023 was a challenging year for Swedish households, where macroeconomic conditions further underscored the importance of savings. Avanza’s customers continued to save and Avanza’s share of the net inflow to the Swedish savings market was 22 per cent for the year as a whole. This compares to a total market share of the Swedish savings market of 7.1 per cent as of year-end, according to recent statistics from Statistics Sweden’s Savings Barometer.

Despite macroeconomic headwinds, the net inflow to Avanza more than tripled compared to 2022 and the number of customers increased by nearly 125,000.
