Canadian Platinum Corp. Appoints Karen Frisky as Chief Financial Officer to Replace Randy Ludwar

Canadian Platinum Corp. announced the appointment of Karen Frisky, BComm, CGA to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Karen brings extensive accounting experience to the company.

Previously, Ms. Frisky served as Director of Finance at Great Western Minerals Group Ltd. Karen also currently acts as CFO for Star Minerals Group Ltd. Ms. Frisky is replacing Randy Ludwar, the current CFO, who is retiring.

Aurex Energy Corp. is a Canada-based resource exploration and development company. The Company is focused on the acquisition and development of a diversified portfolio of resource properties. This includes natural gas, base metals, and gold. It operates natural gas reserves in the Barnett Shale, Texas, and is exploring and developing four mineral projects in two mining jurisdictions, Nevada, USA and Saskatchewan, Canada. The Company's projects include Cook Gold Project and Craig Lake Project. In the Cook Gold Project, the Company owns a 70% working interest in 88 lode claims, covering 7.4 square kilometers (sq km), located 100 km northwest of Winnemucca, in Humboldt County, Nevada. The property provides gold and copper mineralization. The Craig Lake Project area is within 1.7 kilometer (km) of the former producing Westarm Mine operated by Hudson Bay Mining.
