Atrium Ljungberg Announces Creation of New Business Area; Announces Board and Executive Changes

Atrium Ljungberg is expanding its organization through the creation of a new Business Area, Transactions and Market, with the aim of further increasing its focus on growth and generating new business opportunities.
The company announced the new Business Area will be headed by Micael Averborg, the current Business Area Director, Offices, and work on recruiting his successor is now in progress. Linus Kjellberg has also been appointed as the new Business Development Director, succeeding Carola Lavén, who left the Group in April. Linus, who is currently working as a Business Development Officer at Atrium Ljungberg, will take up his new position immediately.
Magnus Alteskog, Atrium Ljungberg's Project Development Director and a member of the senior management, announced in May that he will be leaving the company to set up his own business. Magnus has resigned his position in the senior management team, effective immediately, and will be leaving the company completely during the summer.
Atrium Ljungberg AB, formerly LjungbergGruppen AB, is a Sweden-based company that is active within the real estate sector. The Company is engaged in the ownership, development and management of real estate property, principally in Stockholm, Malmo and Uppsala in Sweden. The Company also owns properties in Ostersund, Vasteras and Halmstad. Its property portfolio is comprised of office and retail properties, as well as residential real estate. The Company is also operational through a number of wholly owned subsidiaries, comprising TL Bygg AB, Impluvium Tio AB, Fastighets AB Blastern, Arstalunden AB, PUB AB, Suhob Fastighets AB, LjungbergGruppen Holding AB, Fastighets AB Celtica and Atrium Fastigheter AB. In addition, the Company holds stake in Sickla Industrifastigheter KB and has a number of indirectly owned subsidiaries. In February 2014, the Company acquired property Nacka Sicklaon 83:33 from Lansforsakringar Liv's subsidiary.
