Atlassian Corp.'s shares rose 13% after hours to $302 after the company gave stronger-than-expected projections for the fiscal first quarter.

The team-collaboration and productivity software company expects revenue around $575 million to $590 million, up from the $459.5 million it reported in the year-earlier quarter and ahead of analysts' consensus projections of $539.1 million.

It said expects first-quarter earnings around 9 cents to 10 cents a share or 38 cents to 39 cents a share on an adjusted basis. Analysts are targeting an adjusted EPS of 30 cents.

In the June quarter, Atlassian topped analysts' earnings and revenue projections as well.
