SNC-Lavalin announced that it has been awarded, as part of BTF Solutions, a 30-month, $42 million contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville to perform initial outfitting and transition (IO&T) services for the relocation of the existing Brian Allgood Army Community Hospital (BAACH) and associated buildings in Yongsan/Seoul, South Korea to a new hospital under construction at Camp Humphreys. This contract was signed under SNC-Lavalin's Faithful+Gould business. The new hospital facility consists of a single multi-story building housing an Ambulatory Care Clinic and a 68-bed hospital, totaling 418,572 square feet with an adjacent parking structure, and central utility plant. The hospital will serve approximately 65,000 patients. The contract will include equipment and move planning, as well as purchasing of medical equipment.
