ATENOR announces that an agreement has been reached for the transfer of the shares of AIR PROPERTIES s.a., which is realising the renovation-extension of the 'AIR' building, the former headquarters of ING in Luxembourg.
ATENOR, associated with PI Group s.a. (Luxembourg investors), had acquired this participation in May 2014.
The AIR building is located at the junction of the Route d'Esch and rue Jean Piret, in the heart of the administrative district of Cloche d'Or, which is being completely redeveloped. After major renovation and extension, this building will offer more than 10,000 m² of offices with the latest technological advances and a BREEAM environmental certification. The planning permission was obtained in June 2014, and the work started in August.
The building is already fully leased by the audit company BDO for a period of 12 years.
The purchasers are Belgian-Luxembourg institutional investors comprising, at the initiative of ETHIAS, the
Luxembourg insurance company FOYER and the Belgian insurance company L'INTÉGRALE
The transfer will be effective after the completion and the delivery to BDO in the first quarter of 2016 and the operation will positively impact the results of ATENOR from 2014 to 2016.
