AS Company S.A. ("Company") announces that it is in advanced negotiations to acquire exclusive distribution rights for new product categories("products") related to infants and children, specifically:
With Italian company Artsana Spa, regarding its products under the Chicco and Boppy brands, for Greece and Cyprus.
With Dutch company Maxi Miliaan BV (Dorel), regarding its products under the Bébé Comfort and Safety First brands, for Greece.
In this context, the Company has signed an agreement with the current exclusive distributor of these products in Greece, "B. & M. Skarmoutsos SA," to acquire the corresponding inventory and intangible commercial assets related to the distribution of these products.
The completion of this transaction, the value of which is anticipated to total approximately €1.700.000, depends on the fulfillment of certain requirements among which is the signing of exclusive distribution contracts between the Company and the above-mentioned foreign companies. This process is expected to be finalized within the next 45 days.
These intended new partnerships align with the Company's strategy to expand its product portfolio with new categories that meet the needs of these age groups and are expected to positively impact its financial results by leveraging new distribution channels alongside its existing infrastructure.
The Company will update the investing public as soon as final developments occur.
