The Board of Directors of Artemis Alpha Trust plc announced the appointment of Mr. Duncan Budge as an independent non-executive Director of the company with effect from 19 November 2013. Mr. Budge retired from his role as Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of RIT Capital Partners plc in 2011, having been appointed in 1995. He is currently a non-executive director of Dunedin Enterprise Investment Trust plc and The World Trust Fund.
He is also chairman of Spencer House Limited.
