Award recognises excellence in risk management at Rio Tinto in Australia

Lisa Patat, Product Group Risk Manager at Rio Tinto's Iron Ore business, a high-profile and long-standing client of Sword Active Risk, has been voted winner of the Risk Management Institution of Australasia (RMIA) Risk Manager of the Year for 2013. The award was presented earlier this month at the GRC 2013 Conference in Melbourne, Australia by RMIA President, Bryan Whitefield, Chair of the RMIA Awards Committee, Peter Brass and RMIA CEO, Grant Whitehorn.

It represents the pinnacle of risk management excellence and is awarded to the individual who is deemed to be at the forefront of best practice.
