Funds managed by Ares Management Corporation (NYSE:ARES), Bpifrance and the founders of Point Vision Group agreed to acquire an unknown majority stake in Holding des Centres Point Vision SAS from Abénex Capital SA and others on October 14, 2021. Under the transaction, Ares is acquiring an unknown majority take from Abénex Capital SA, Bpifrance is acquiring an unknown minority stake and founders of Point Vision Group are reinvesting. Vincent Ponsonnaille, Nadine Gelli, Sonia Bouaffassa, Sean J. Hill and Edward Kirby of Kirkland & Ellis LLP acted as legal advisors and Nicolas Royer of Canaccord Genuity SAS acted as financial advisor to Ares Management Corporation and Bpifrance. Damien Segond of CASE Corporate Finance acted as financial advisor, Marc Baffreau of Archers acted as legal advisor and Katia Wagner and Guillaume Leullier of Eight Advisory acted as financial due diligence providers to Abénex Capital SA and other shareholders of Holding des Centres Point Vision SAS. Tikehau Capital acted as Unitranche debt advisor in the transaction.
