Ampella Mining Limited (ASX: AMX) ("Ampella" or "the Company") is further encouraged by relatively shallow down-dip assay results from its recently completed third round of drilling on the Napelapera Prospect in Burkina Faso, 7 kilometres southwest of Ampella's 3.25M oz Konkera Resource.
It is anticipated that any new Independently verified resource will significantly contribute to providing the additional mineable free-milling 300,000 - 400,000 oz gold required to complete feasibility studies
currently being undertaken at Batie West and complement the current 3.25M oz JORC compliant
Konkera gold resource.
HIGHLIGHTS
• Significant new interceptions from recent reverse-circulation drilling include; NPRC073 7 metres at 4.3 g/t Au from 109 metres
NPRC067 7 metres at 1.7 g/t Au from 107 metres NPRC070 30 metres at 1.0 g/t Au from 29 metres NPRC071 11 metres at 1.4 g/t Au from 110 metres NPRC075 8 metres at 1.2 g/t Au & 18 metres at 1.0 g/t Au from 125 metres NPRC076 5 metres at 1.5 g/t Au from 67 metres• Drilling has confirmed a shallow dipping continuous zone of gold mineralisation that extends over a strike length greater than 1.5 kilometres. Gold mineralisation in this shallow dipping granodiorite hosted orebody remains open along strike and down dip.
• Previously announced Leachwell Results indicate excellent gold recoveries are likely from all ore types at the Napelapera Prospect (average 98.4%).
• This prospect has potential to significantly contribute to providing the additional mineable free-milling 300,000 - 400,000 oz gold required to complete the feasibility studies currently being undertaken at Batie West.
• Independently verified resource estimations and pit optimisations for Napelapera are already underway.
• The current exploration program is now complete and no further drilling is scheduled until the resource estimations have been finalised.

• NPRC009 13 metres at 1.01 g/t Au
• NPRC012 30 metres at 1.4 g/t Au
Due to these encouraging results, Ampella completed a second phase of drilling consisting of 49 holes designed to test a strike length of 2.8kms. Assay results from this program were announced to the ASX on 30th August 2013 and included;
• NPRD023 37 metres at 1.1 g/t Au
• NPRC035 12 metres at 3.0 g/t Au
• NPRC022 17 metres at 1.6 g/t Au
• NPRC026 10 metres at 1.9 g/t Au
• NPRC039 7 metres at 2.5 g/t Au
• NPRC043 15 metres at 1.2 g/t Au
These results highlighted a 1.5 km long zone of continuous mineralisation that dips shallowly to the west at approximately 30 degrees. This zone of stronger gold mineralisation was located on the southern portion of the prospect, however the drilling on the northern portion was very widely spaced and has not tested the gold anomalism adequately.
• NPRC073 7 metres at 4.3 g/t Au from 109 metres
• NPRC067 7 metres at 1.7 g/t Au from 107 metres
• NPRC070 30 metres at 1.0 g/t Au from 29 metres
• NPRC071 11 metres at 1.4 g/t Au from 110 metres
• NPRC075 8 metres at 1.2 g/t Au & 18 metres at 1.0 g/t Au from 125 metres
• NPRC076 5 metres at 1.5 g/t Au from 67 metres
Ampella has previously submitted samples from varying down-hole depths and varying gold grades for Leachwell analysis, followed by a Fire Assay on the residue. Analyses from the Leachwell ranged from 0.16 ppm to 30.1 ppm Au with fire assay analysis on the residual ranging from <0.01 ppm to 0.08 ppm. These results represented gold recoveries in the range of 96.4% to

Napelapera is located on Ampella's 100% owned Kpere Batie permit, approximately 7 kilometres from the Konkera Resource. The prospect was initially identified by regional auger drilling, having produced a 3.5 kilometre long gold anomaly. Subsequent Aircore drilling provided further encouragement for Ampella to advance to reverse-circulation (RC) drill testing of the prospect. An initial small first pass RC program consisting of 13 holes was completed on Napelapera Prospect during the previous quarter. Assay results from this small program were announced in the 2013
June Quarterly report, and included;
Following these very promising results, Ampella recently completed a third phase of drilling at the Napelapera Prospect to test the down dip extension of this shallow gold mineralisation. The program consisted of 17 drill holes for 2057m of reverse-circulation drilling. All assay results have now been received (Table 1) and below are some of the more significant intercepts;
99.7% with an average recovery of 98.4%. The Leachwell results indicate excellent gold recoveries from all samples, including the deeper fresh sulphide samples.
A new Independently verified resource estimation and pit optimisation for Napelapera is currently being undertaken based on all drill results to hand. Previous estimates for the Napelapera resource indicated the potential for a global Exploration Target of over 470,000 oz of gold at an average grade of 1.25 g/t Au (0.5g/t cut-off). At a 1.0g/t gold cut-off the Exploration Target consisted of 355,000 oz of gold at an average grade of 1.5g/t Au.*
It is anticipated that any new Independently verified resource at Napelapera has the potential to significantly contribute to providing the additional mineable free-milling 300,000 - 400,000 oz gold required to complete feasibility studies currently being undertaken at Batie West and complement the current 3.25M oz JORC compliant Konkera gold resource.
