Amerant Bancorp Inc. reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2022. For the fourth quarter, the company reported net interest income was USD 82.18 million compared to USD 55.78 million a year ago. Net income was USD 18.77 million compared to USD 65.47 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.56 compared to USD 1.79 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.55 compared to USD 1.77 a year ago.
For the full year, net interest income was USD 266.67 million compared to USD 205.14 million a year ago. Net income was USD 63.31 million compared to USD 112.92 million a year ago.
