AME Real Estate Investment Trust (AME REIT) is a Malaysia-based Islamic REIT. AME REIT is principally engaged in investing in a diverse portfolio of properties with the primary objective of achieving an attractive level of return from rental income and long-term capital growth. AME REIT’s principal investment policy of investing, directly and indirectly, in a Shariah compliant portfolio of income producing real estate used primarily for industrial and industrial-related purposes in Malaysia and overseas. AME REIT operates through a single segment, which is engaged in the leasing of investment properties. Its portfolio consists of approximately 34 fully tenanted industrial properties with an ALA of 1.9 million sq. ft.
