Amaero International Limited announced that the company has appointed former Vice President of The Boeing Company, Mr. David Carbon, as Aviation Advisor to Amaero's newly established Industry Advisory Board. Mr. Carbon is recognized as a global leading aviation expert in manufacturing, assembly and supply chain management. During his distinguished career with Boeing, Mr. Carbon held numerous senior operational roles, and was responsible for some of the most iconic commercial aeroplane factories in the history of commercial aviation. He was responsible for leading Seattle Machining and Emergent Operations, the 747 Factory, the Twin Aisle Delivery Centre and the 787 Operation. Mr. Carbon also led the 787 (Dreamliner) Program to a number of historic firsts, including world record build rates of 10, 12 and 14 per month and was also operationally responsible for the successful introduction of the 787-10 model. Mr. Carbon will assist Amaero by providing strategic advice on the most appropriate manner in which to engage with senior management and operational staff of major aviation manufacturers. Mr. Carbon is the first member of Amaero's newly established Industry Advisory Board. The company will appoint a further two leading industry professionals over the next 12 months, each person will be from one of three major industry disciplines: Aviation/Aerospace, Defence & Industrial Tooling.
