Aigle SA is a French company that designs, manufactures and distributes outdoor leisure products. The Company has three main product lines: boots, outdoor shoes and outdoor clothing, for men, women and children. These products are grouped into three principle collections: Earth, targeted at walkers, fishermen and women, horse riders and hunters; Sea, aimed at sailors and yachtsmen and women, and Mountain, designed for skiers and hikers. Aigle SA operates a network of 131 stores, including 61 in France, 14 in Europe (in Andorra, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Belgium and Switzerland), and 56 in Asia, notably Japan. In 2004, clothing sales represented approximately 50% of the Company's total sales worldwide, boots represented 23%, shoes 20% and accessories 6%. Aigle SA was founded in 1853 and is headquartered in Boulogne-Billancourt.
