MATERIAL FACT

AES TIETÊ ENERGIA S.A. ("AES TIETÊ" or "Company") (B3: TIET11, TIET3, TIET4), in compliance with paragraph 4, article 157 of Federal Law 6,404/76 and CVM Instruction 358 of January 3, 2002 and other applicable provisions, complementing the Material Fact notices disclosed on March 21 and April 9, 2019, related to the execution with Renova Energia S.A. ("Renova") of an agreement for the acquisition of the entire ownership interest in the special purpose companies that make up the Alto Sertão III Wind Complex ("Agreement" and "Transaction"), hereby informs that:

The National Power Agency ("ANEEL") decided, on this date, to revoke the connection to grid authorization of Alto Sertão III Wind Complex's Phase B. As set forth in the Agreement, the maintenance of authorizations was condition precedent to the Transaction closing.

Given said decision, the Company will reevaluate its interest in Phase B of the referred project. Phase A and the Pipeline were not subject to ANEEL's decision on this date and, therefore, follow their regular course in the Transaction closing schedule.

The Company will keep the market and its shareholders duly informed of future developments.
