Appointment within Groupe ADP

Upon the proposal of the Board of Directors of ADP Ingénierie, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Groupe ADP:

Gratien Maire has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of ADP Ingénierie

Gratien Maire, 59 years old, is a former student of the French Air Force Academy in Salon-de-Provence, a graduate of the United States Air Force Air War College in Montgomery, Alabama and of the French Institut des Hautes Etudes de la Défense Nationale (Institute for Advanced Studies in National Defence) and the Centre des Hautes Etudes Militaires (Centre for Advanced Military Studies).

Between 1982 and 1996, Gratien Maire was a fighter pilot; then, from 1997 to 2000, he served as Head of the International Relations Division of the French Air Force.

Gratien Maire has also worked as a diplomat. He was defence attaché at the French Embassy in Ottawa, Canada (2000-2003) and then at the French Embassy in Washington DC, USA (2008-2011). Between these positions, he was a technical advisor in the Office of the Prime Minister (2004-2006), and, subsequently, Commandant of the French Air Force Academy.

In 2012, Gratien Maire was appointed Head of the International Relations Division of the French Joint Staff and on the 15thFebruary 2014, was promoted to the rank of General of the French Air Force, and became Vice Chief of the Defence Staff of the French Armed Forces. He held this position until September 2016.

He is a Commander of the Légion d'Honneur, a Commander of the National Order of Merit, and holder of the Cross for Military Valour and of the Combatant's Cross.

He replaces Olivier Berger, who, after succeeding in turning around the performance of the subsidiary and devising a new business plan, will pursue his mission to develop engineering and innovation within the international scope of Groupe ADP.
