Aerodrom Ljubljana dd : Inaugural meeting of the Business Advisory Board

The Business Advisory Board of Aerodrom Ljubljana, d.o.o., met for the first time. The tasks of the newly established Board, as set out in the Articles of Association of Aerodrom Ljubljana, shall be to provide advice and support to the Managing Director, the Sole Member and the Investor's Committee on commercial and other issues that are important for the Company regarding developments in the economy, aviation and the airport industry.

The members of the Business Advisory Board, who will be meeting twice a year, are as follows: Dirk Schudziara - Senior Vice President for Cargo from Fraport AG, who was elected Chair of the Board; Miha Košak - an independent consultant with extensive experience in international banking; Tadeja Strupi - president of the Worker's Council of Aerodrom Ljubljana; Eva Štravs Podlogar - Director General at the Tourism & Internationalization Directorate at the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology; Metka Tekavčič PhD - Dean of the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana; Elen Twrdy PhD - Dean of the Faculty of Maritime Studies and Transportation, University of Ljubljana; and Aleksander Zalaznik - General Manager of Danfoss Trata and President of The Managers' Association of Slovenia.

'When selecting the members of the Board, account was taken of their areas of expertise, the diversity of their professions and their relevance for our operations. It is important for us that the Board comprises a wide range of academic and practical knowledge. Together, our members bring extensive knowledge and experience from the fields of transportation and logistics, tourism, finance, economics and management, and international business. An employee representative and a representative of the owner also number among the members,' explained Zmago Skobir, Managing Director of Aerodrom Ljubljana on the occasion of the Board's establishment.

Despite the operation of a Business Advisory Board being a new development in Slovenia, it is part of established corporate governance practice at the German company, Fraport AG, the parent company of Aerodrom Ljubljana.
