Advan Group Co., Ltd. (TSE:7463) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 800,000 shares, representing 1.98% of its share capital, for a total of ¥768 million. The company will repurchase its shares in order to enable flexible execution of capital policies in response to changes in the business environment.
The program will run until January 20, 2022. As of January 19, 2022, the company has 40,415,746 shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) and 13,396,946 shares in treasury.
Advan Group Co Ltd, formerly Advan Co Ltd, is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the import and sale of building finishing materials. The Company operates in three business segments. The Construction Materials Related segment is engaged in the import and sale of construction materials such as stones, tiles, housing-related products, fireplaces and stoves, faucets, system kitchens and other building materials, as well as the related construction works. The Real Estate Leasing segment is engaged in the leasing and management of distribution centers and other real estates. The Others segment is engaged in the wholesale of imported bricks, pots and other gardening-related products, as well as the logistics management business.
