Network Communications Pvt Ltd announced that it will receive an equity round of funding from returning investor Adam Investments Limited on September 15, 2014. The investor will acquire a total of 9% stake in the company to hold majority 51% stake in the company. The board of directors' of the investor approved the transaction.

The Company's subsidiaries are Adam Air-conditions (Pvt) Ltd, Adam Automobiles (Pvt) Ltd and Adam Metal (Pvt) Ltd. Adam Air Conditions (Pvt) Ltd is engaged in importing, marketing and servicing of air conditioners. Adam Automobiles (Pvt) Ltd is the automobile arm of the Company and is engaged in importing vehicles and vehicle spare parts. Adam Metal (Pvt) Ltd. manufactures metal hardware items and metal products at its 40 perch factory situated at Vauxhall Street, Colombo. It also imports consumer hardware items, which are sold on retail and wholesale basis through its 25 perch sales center located in Abdul Jabbar Mawatha, Colombo, and through its distribution network.
