SAO PAULO--Brazil's trade surplus narrowed last month as exports fell and imports increased, the economy ministry said Monday.
The country recorded a surplus of $4.78 billion in December, after a surplus of $6.68 billion in November. Brazilian exports fell to $26.65 billion last month, from $28.16 billion in November, while imports increased to $21.87 billion from $21.49 billion.
