Wison Engineering Delivers Its First Batch of Modules
for Formosa U.S. LDPE Project on Schedule
(Hong Kong, January 18, 2018) Wison Engineering Services Co. Ltd. ('Wison Engineering', SEHK stock code: 2236), announced that Wison Engineering delivered the first batch of 28 modules (52 in total) as scheduled for CPM02 Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) Pipe Rack Modularization and Erection Project of Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A. ('FPC') on the morning of January 12. The delivery was undertaken by the company under an EPFC (engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction) contract. Prior to the delivery, five representatives from FPC completed a final inspection and approved the release of the first batch of modules in Nantong Yard of Wison Offshore & Marine. The representatives praised Wison Engineering's capabilities on project organization, engineering quality and schedule control.
Wison Engineering was awarded an EPFC contract for part of the LDPE Project of Formosa Plastics in Texas in July 2017, marking the first contract for the company in the American market. Wison Engineering is responsible for modular engineering, fabrication, transportation and on-site installation, with a tight schedule of 388 days until final delivery.
