Following a year that saw significant investment and growth in its digital apps business, Michael Brandstaedter, President and COO of The Topps Company, Inc. announced today that as part of its continuing focus to expand and invest in its digital division, Topps has appointed Jeremy Strauser as General Manager of Digital.

In his new role, Mr. Strauser will lead Topps’ digital division and oversee the company’s digital strategy, pressing for even more expansion. Michael Bramlage will remain as Vice President, Digital and report to Mr. Strauser. Mr. Bramlage has spearheaded several initiatives in the digital space, including the creation of a number of top grossing iOS apps such as Topps BUNT.

“We are confident the team can take our digital business to the next level. Our apps are working extremely well, and adding Jeremy’s experience will really give us the opportunity to make digital our next big business,” said Mr. Brandstaedter.

Mr. Strauser previously held positions as Executive Producer at Electronic Arts for Madden NFL and other EA SPORTS titles, as well as Studio General Manager for Zynga in both Austin and San Francisco, where he led Zynga Poker and other titles in the casino division. Immediately prior to joining Topps, he was the co-founder and COO of Bee Cave Games, where he oversaw aspects of Operations, Game Design, Production and Marketing for Bee Cave Blackjack & Slots for Facebook, as well as iOS and Android mobile devices. Mr. Strauser holds a BA in Political Science from George Washington University.
