JFrog announced that its user conference will include key thought leaders in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) solutions, including Kit Colbert, CTO of VMware, Guillaume Laforge, Groovy Project Manager, Carl Quinn, Cluster Automation Architect at Riot Games, Stephen Chin, Java Technology Evangelist at Oracle and many others. The gathering, dubbed “swampUP,” is scheduled for May 5, 2015, in Napa Valley, Calif. Unlike large impersonal meetings, swampUP is intentionally organized as a small exclusive event to ensure one-on-one interaction between the JFrog Developer and DevOps communities and these leading experts, whether it be in the seminars, over drinks or at dinner.

“At swampUP, our community of leading CI/CD developers and DevOps professionals will get to see into the plans of key technology providers and to learn more about incorporating new technologies such as Docker in CI/CD solutions,” said JFrog CEO Shlomi Ben Haim. “They’ll be in a relaxed environment where they can build relationships and share knowledge and ideas that they can bring back to their companies for future planning.”

Here is a glimpse into some of the topics to be presented at swampUP:

  • Carl Quinn, Cluster Automation Architect, Riot Games, will talk about clusters of Docker hosts.
  • Kit Colbert, CTO at VMware will examine the lessons learned from VMware’s experience with development, deployment, and management of secure microservices architecture.
  • Guillaume Laforge, Groovy Project Manager, will discuss how the Groovy release cycle went from a whole afternoon of manual actions to just minutes in a one-click process.
  • Jagan Subramanian, Senior Director at Oracle, Fusion Middleware, will explain how Oracle used Artifactory for CI/CD to scale in over 15 countries.
  • Yoav Landman, CTO of JFrog, will describe the challenges in migrating a complicated, multi-faceted dev environment to Docker.
  • Allen Reese, Senior Architect at Yahoo, will share best practices and OSS development at Yahoo.
  • Seth Chisamore, Engineering Lead at Chef, will take you into a journey through Chef Software’s continuous delivery.
  • Jon Schneider, Senior Software Engineer, Netflix, will do a deep dive into the complexities in managing a large binary dependency graph to scale inside Netflix’s culture of freedom and responsibility.

More speakers from Pivotal, Sumologic, Macy's, Oracle, Hashicorp and VMware will share best practices.
