Storm Beryl has weakened into a tropical depression and is forecast to weaken further to become a post-tropical cyclone on Tuesday (July 9), the U.S. National Hurricane Center said.
The depression, located 30 miles (48.28 km) east-southeast of Tyler, Texas, is packing maximum sustained winds of 35 miles per hour (55 km per hour), the NHC said.
