In November 2013, construction output increased, year-on-year, by 1,5 % to EUR 490,6 million. After seasonal adjustment, it was higher by 2,6 % compared with October 2013.
Compared with November 2012, output realized by domestic construction companies grew by 2,1 % to EUR 467,1 million. Its share on total construction output rose by 0,6 p.p. to 95,2 %. The development of the domestic output was affected by a growth in new construction, renewals and enhancements by 0,5 % and repairs and maintenance by 6,2 %. New construction, renewals and enhancements represented 74,5 % of the structure of the domestic output (by 1,2 p.p. less than in November 2012). The share of repairs and maintenance works rose to 24,5 %. In terms of output specification, the volume of civil engineering works grew by 14,5 %, construction of buildings dropped by 2,8 %. Construction of buildings represented 67,7 % of the domestic output, civil engineering works accounted for 32,3 %.
Non-domestic construction output realized by construction companies dropped by 9,3 %, year-on-year. Its share constituted 4,8 % of the total output.
Since the beginning of 2013, construction output stood at EUR 4 159,8 million and was reduced by 6,7 %, year-on-year. Domestic output dropped by 6,8 % to EUR 3 935,3 million. The volume of realized works in new construction, renewals and enhancements decreased by 11,8 % to EUR 2 824,9 million. Repairs and maintenance works were higher by 9,5 % and amounted to EUR 1 064,2 million. Non-domestic output fell by 4,5 %. In the structure of the domestic output, the share of new construction, renewals and enhancements fell by 4 p.p. to 71,8 %, the share of repairs and maintenance works rose by 4 p.p. to 27 %.

Note: Construction production includes volume of works realized by own employees; including estimation of production for construction establishments of non-construction enterprises; absolute data are at current prices, indices are calculated from constant prices (average prices of 2010). In November 2013, the number of working days was lower by one day compared with the corresponding period of 2012 and also since the beginning of the year.
